Papel Machete’s Cantastoria, Solidarity and Survival for Our Liberation, shares the political and humanitarian crisis affecting Puerto Rico. The visual work of the two illustrated panels that are used in the Cantastoria were created by Puerto Rican artist, Estefanía Rivera. In these panels the catastrophic situation and its contrasts with the militarization of the aid and efforts of the people are presented. The Cantastoria is directed and created by members of Papel Machete and is presented in public spaces and in the Mutual Support Centers (CAM) throughout the main island.
